The map is a bit deceiving - an exhibit titled 'Pandemonium of Parrots' opened in 2019; but doesn't appear on the map. Also not appearing on the map is the newly-opened owl area - here it is referred to by its prior title of 'Temperate House'. And before that even it had toucans. That area opened in 2020.
I have distinct memory of the Temperate House - I believe at one point it held lapwings of some kind. Given the bee-eater appears on the map, a species that left in 2018, I am inclined to date this map to about 2017ish. I believe I have some memory of seeing it. The 'Jurassic Journey', the park's animatronic dinosaur trail, opened in 2015, so it must've been in that 3-year window of time. Before that it was simply a natural space with a hide. Having been to the park prior to 2015, I believe somewhere I have a map which lacks the Dinosaur area.
Thanks for your informative response. I love to see the evolution of a zoo via its various maps. Some places change a great deal while others don't show much progress at all.
