I wish more zoos displayed their deceased animals in this way. It apparently used to be common (Auckland Zoo even had a polar bear cub), but it’s rare to see these days in New Zealand zoos.
Werribee had Tsavo the lion’s skeleton; and Adelaide have Janice the pygmy hippo and George the orangutan.
