I wonder how they keep that Viv clean There must be lot of ammonia and waste produced in that tank, how large is it Maguari can you recall?

It was pretty big - 2' x 2' x 3' tall at least from memory.

The amphib/invert floor of the aquarium is one of my favourite Berlin exhibits. A really big amphib section is a joy to behold.

Thanks for the info I used to keep tomato frogs myself privately a long with a lot of other species.

One of the best Amphib collections I ever saw was in Amsterdam Artis zoo in the 1980's which had the best D. tinctorius display I had ever seen Alas when I was last there some 12 yrs ago it had gone and so had most of the amphibian section in the newly laid out aquarium, though may be I just didn't find them.
