Pacific Golden Orb-Weaver (Trichonephila [Nephila] plumipes)

How many Nephilia webs did you get caught in while searching for night birds?

@DavidBrown in Vanuatu, none. The only night bird is Barn Owl so I never went out at night. I don't think I've ever walked into one at night anywhere else either, although I have certainly walked into them during the daytime. Maybe they are just more obvious by night (i.e. when the light shows them up).
