The capybaras can also access the water areas and lower lying meadows around the other two monkey islands, by swimming through the waterways and underneath the visitor boardwalk.
@felis silvestris Mostly just ponds covered with duckweed, nothing dangerous to the capybaras. I have also seen them keeping sections of certain moats open with aerators to avoid primates from thinking it is grass they can cross.
