The exhibit for polar bears. Pretty small and sterile, though you can see the bears under water, but when I visited, they didn\'t swim anything.

Are there any plans for renovating or demolishing this badly outdated enclosure? With the worldwide economic crisis it must be difficult to raise funds for a modern polar bear habitat.

The enclosure is big enough for two Polar bears, it's very good structurated and the swimmingpart is bigger than in most other zoos.

I thought we decided that coatis doesn't fit into a polarpanorama..

Right... Well, then we will just have to turn it into a coati-panorama! I am sure that the sea lion pool can also be converted into a very nice coati exhibit. And just to make it interesting we could keep white-nosed coati in the front exhibit and brown-nosed coati in the back exhibit

The white-nosed coatis would have a very big swimming pool then ...

Maybe it is big enough for two old non breedng polar bears, but nothing more....

That would be enough, old bears are avaiable at every time...

I guess that the enclosure could be converted into a coati home, but it would have to go through a lot of refurnishing.
