The open-air tanks in the foreground are home to turtles and fish. The alligator exhibit is all the way in the back. The terrarium on the right is home to Cottonmouth and Timber Rattlesnake.
Agree, I really enjoy these kinds of exhibits. I went through both this and Appalachian Cove multiple times on my visits.
It's such a shame that there are no free-flying birds here (the museum attempted it in the past without much success), because there is a ton of wasted space since the exhibits were clearly designed to with birds in mind.
