Apparently there are only two facilities in Australia that hold them. And I think this is a new species for me.
And this is only half the enclosure, there's just as many in the other half!
Over the years I've seen Hog Deer in a few U.S. Zoos - Miami Metro (I think), Oklahoma City, and Memphis. Their numbers have never been high here, but they've been in decline for about a decade.
