Wolverine in a tree, holding a bone

@TinoPup Multiple times, this individual was climbing up the tree with the bone, dropping it, and then climbing down to climb up again. I don't know whether the dropping was intentional (e.g., trying to break it) or accidental, but it was certainly an interesting behavior to see, as watching a wolverine climb down a tree was certainly fascinating. Prior to this experience, I didn't even realize that wolverines were adept tree climbers, but this one climbed extraordinarily well!

@Neil chace I would have loved to have seen that, it sounds fascinating. The ones at Columbus just got zoomies with theirs :D I could have watched them for hours. Detroit definitely just moved up my list of places to visit! How far a drive was it from Toledo?

@TinoPup We spent a night halfway in between the two. After visiting Detroit, we went about 45 minutes south of Detroit, and then the next morning another half hour to Toledo, so if driving straight a little over an hour.

I was very much impressed by Detroit, and would highly recommend it. The penguin and amphibian centers are both some of the greatest exhibits I've ever seen, and I actually think Detroit equally excels with a lot of their less talked about exhibits. Live, mature trees in the red panda and wolverine exhibits, a massive sea otter exhibit in the Arctic Ring of Life, and some of the most impressive reptile exhibits I've ever seen in the Reptile Conservation Center (including a water monitor exhibit at least as large as the Komodo exhibit at Bronx!) were all highlights, as was how much native wildlife I saw throughout the zoo.

@Neil chace @birdsandbats Thanks both. It's so hard when you're traveling around and there's another zoo close by, but you don't have time :( Might have to do some sort of Toledo/Detroit trip (on top of all the other ones I want to do, lol).
