I know shamefully little about the Heart of Africa development, but will the two aviaries (Tsavo and African Wetlands) remain, or if they are demolished, will any other avian offerings make up for their loss? What about the enclosure for hunting dogs, roan antelopes and black rhinos, which were all highlights on my visit?
@Kalaw Of the enclosures you mention, only the Roan paddock is being removed completely. There will be some tweaks and changes I'm sure (to the large aviary in particular as it's due to switch to flamingos) but the others are being retained according to the plans. The Roan should be going in the big mixed paddock.
@Kalaw the only real change to the Rhinos, is there will be less access to walk around all the paddocks, tha path that goes to the meekats will be off show
