Ruffed Lemur enclosure

October 2023
Photo taken from one of the giraffe viewing areas (i.e. looking across the savannah enclosure towards the lemurs). The cage was formerly for the Servals and Caracals ("Grassland Cats"), neither of which are now kept at the zoo. The Ruffed Lemurs are two males which were moved in here earlier this year, with their old cage now housing Brown Capuchins.

The upright pole fencing is the far side of the savannah enclosure; and the latticed structure is an awning over the glass fronts of the lemur cages (there is a visitor pathway between the pole fencing and the latticed awning). There is a lemur visible on the right side between the upright trees. The lemur which can be seen on the left side is actually a picture on the glass front of the cage.
