@DavidBrown There's been two or three reviews of this "new" facility on ZooChat and my gut feeling is that there's been nothing of significance added since it opened. The zoo is basically the exact same size as London Zoo (both 14 hectares/36 acres) and Paris had 6 years of construction on its zoo and then it opened (voila!) in one shot. I'm not sure that anything major has been changed in almost a decade.
@snowleopard They did swap out/add a couple things - roan antelope replacing scimitar horned oryx, adding red lechwe in with the rhinos and zebras, adding Southern pudu near the pumas, and the slime mold exhibit to boot...
Past that, they've teased a temporary Australia exhibit and a permanent Congo exhibit for gorillas, okapi, pygmy hippo, bongo, roloway monkey, etc for the longest time.
@SivatheriumGuy I think it was in the Paris Zoological Park news thread? I'll have to double-check.
Not there, but I do remember seeing earlier plans for Paris and it mentioned Australia there - I usually tend to remember hyper-specific details like that.
