@BetoYoung no need to apologize. The camera doesn’t exactly do it Justice but it still is a very poor alligator exhibit. Luckily it only houses one resident, instead of about 5 a couple years ago.
@Gibbonsagainstgravity in person it’s definitely bigger but it is a very poor Chinese alligator exhibit, especially for an AZA facility or in general Cincinnati, but it is waaaaay better than what it used to look like. They used to house 5-7 alligators with 1-2 juvenile alligator snapping turtles and several turtles. There was also no sand or any other natural substrate.
