@UngulateNerd92 One really nice thing about this zoo map is that each individual exhibit is shown with its approximate size. Some zoos have an animal icon over an area and it's impossible to know the dimensions of the enclosure. This was a nice style of zoo map for Denver, also used at Minnesota, San Francisco and other zoos at the time.
Denver’s current map uses photos of the animals to mark the exhibits instead of these clear icons. I much prefer the use of icons, since they make the map look much more elegant and easier to read at a glance.
