New amphibian and wetlands exhibit

This was the old elephant house, remodeled after the Chapultepec elephants went to nearby San Juan de Aragon zoo. After being empty for various years, it was reopened about a month ago as Anfibium, a center for education, conservation and display of native Mexican amphibians and native species of the central Mexican wetlands.

Do you know if the animals have access to the wetland area which has been created outside the house?

The wetlands area has outdoor aquariums and terrariums for the more hardy species.
