Mandai development - East Node (under construction)

This is the area adjacent to the Singapore Zoo/River Safari/Night Safari entrances. In the foreground will be a transport hub (underground) and a nature-themed indoor attraction. In the background (top left) will be the hotel.

@Zooish, what species will be present in both East Node and Rainforest Wild Asia?

@Dr. Wolverine East Node refers to the Eastern half of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which includes the existing Zoo, River Wonders and Night Safari, and also the upcoming Rainforest Wild Africa, 2 indoor nature-themed attractions, resort, campsites and restaurants.

Rainforest Wild Asia will have Tigers, Dholes, Sun Bears, Malayan Tapirs, Southeast Asian deer and suids, and several species of primates.

Rainforest Wild Africa will have Okapi, Bongo, Duikers, Pygmy Hippos, and several species of lemurs.

@Zooish Thank you for clarifying. I'm excited about the duikers and suids. Will the suids consist of a permanent exhibit for the bearded pigs?

@Dr. Wolverine i've not come across any mention of Bearded Pigs.
