@Summer Tanager Your Welcome! It was a really fun trip, and their numbers are slowly going up. There are currently 545 Ibises in the wild in Japan, but more may have been released this fall. There are future plans to release the ibis on mainland Japan, presumably Ishikawa and Niigata.
