This photo is interesting as it shows the difference in development between the three young males of the troop:
Melako (2017) is on the left. He’s approaching his prime and is a harem leader. His cape is mostly silver, but mottled with remnants of brown.
Quimby (2018) is beginning to grow his silver cape, but has no females of his own.
Quill (2019) is starting to bulk up, but lacks the silver cape he’ll begin to develop in the coming years. He’s on the far right and basically looks like a large female.
