I am not sure whether it was the same enclosure as the one in this photograph but, on a visit to Cologne some years ago, I saw an Indian rhinoceros kept behind glass.....

Toddy 23 May 2009 There are several scratches on the inside of the glass that must have come from the rhinos' horns. I don't think they charge at it though...

B B BjoernN 26 May 2009 Very good decision, the enclosures (outside and inside) are absolutely unsuitable for rhinos....
