Both the entrance and exit areas have sensors that don't allow you to open the inner/outer doors if the other set isn't closed yet. So simple, but this is the first time I've seen that used!
Same at Auckland, though I believe the ones here it's something to do with the springs or something that won't let you open them, no electric sensors or anything (or at least I'm pretty sure..)
@Osedax@WalkingAgnatha Seems to be an Oceania thing, then! I wonder why it isn't done more here. It can't cost that much, especially in comparison to the cost of losing birds?
