@lintworm are you sure? I agree it isn't a Stock Dove and I'm not as familiar with Common Woodpigeon as you will be, but there is no white on the neck at all that I can see.
@Chlidonias It could be a juvenile as those lack the neck patches and can have light irises, tho the feathers on the neck do look quite iridescent so I don't really know, there's also a subspecies with a cinnamon rather than white patch on the throat. The only similar species I believe are the ones on the Canaries which I really don't think this individual resembles.
@Chlidonias The white neck feathers seem hidden in this photo in those ruffled feathers (and pixels). All other telltale signs are there for an adult European wood pigeon.
