Mr Gharial 16 Jan 2022 I got some real guineafowl flashbacks with that black-collared lovebird... There won't be more distribution cards out for a few days. As I'll be busy making multiple cards for Ibises, which I want to upload all in one go The lovebirds card was made as a request for @KevinB

UngulateNerd92 22 Jan 2022 Having kept both Rosy-faced lovebirds and Fischer's lovebirds in the past, I am glad to see this chart! Thank you.

JurassicMax 23 Jan 2024 Mr Gharial, apparently your distribution map was used as reference in a scientific paper about this species. Mourer-Chauviré, C., Pickford, M., Mocke, H. & Nduutepo, A. 2023. Small birds (Psittaculidae, Galliformes and Passeri) from the Early Miocene of Namibia. Communications of the Geological Survey of Namibia, 26, 10-20

Mr Gharial 24 Jan 2024 @JurassicMax That's amazing! Now I'm curious if there's anything else of mine out there without my knowledge...

JurassicMax 24 Jan 2024 @Mr Gharial Could be, you use the IUCN distribution maps as source for your maps, right?
Mr Gharial 24 Jan 2024 @JurassicMax Yes, almost all my maps are based on the IUCN website, sometimes paired with iNaturalist observations. Which makes it even more odd that they specifically used my guide instead of the IUCN website
