Schalow's Turaco (Turaco schalowi)

I think this is a Schalow's Turaco.

@Zooish What makes you think it's Schalow's and not Livingstone's? I have a hard time trying to find the difference between those two.

When I tried uploading several photos for bird ID via Merlin and google image, they gave me Schalow's but the Mandai signage only put Livingstone's - hence my decision to opt for the latter.

@honeybadger Indeed a Schalow's turaco, it is the long floppy crest that makes this a Schalow's turaco,

@honeybadger as @lintworm mentioned, Schalow's turacos have a longer crest with a black tinge. They have not been signed yet.

Thanks for pointing out for the difference in their crests! I've changed the title to Schalow's Turaco. Any idea on how to edit my initial comment?

Does it mean that there are both Livingstone's and Schalow's in the aviary?

If they have both that is quite the hybridisation risk....

@lintworm yes both species are present, but the Livingstone's are a mated pair while the Schalow's are all females.
