Fazenda mirim is a several acre large fenced area covered in lush native vegetation. Rheas and capybaras are kept here, but they're very hard to spot. You can have a glimpse of this area from several points of the zoo, and there are many species of wild Ardeidae that nest in the Fazenda regularly.
