@Angie Selestino As already answered to you elsewhere, the Blue-footed Boobies could be obtained legally. They are prohibited to be exported from the Galapagos Islands, but the boobies are also found in Peru, Colombia, Panama, and Mexico. Some birds from the Mexican population occasionally disperse north into the United States even, sometimes dozens at a time.
@Angie Selestino The sculptures are used because Blue-footed Boobies are not really available as rehab animals nor is there much interest in importing them. Easier and cheaper to just represent them in sculpture form.
