Red river hog exhibit -Réserve Africaine de Sigean (2022)

Looks like a nice exhibit for the hogs.

@Cat-Man It is! A huge one for the three males the zoo houses, and apparently it's connected to the greater kudu exhibit that is set at the foot of this hill, so you can imagine how much space they have! I wish they kept a breeding herd, with just three males it's kind of a stale enclosure, but a very good one from a welfare perspective which is what should thrive at a zoo.
This was once the cheetah enclosure.

Thanks for the info! I can see what you mean regarding numbers. It must be tricky to see them.

@Cat-Man Not at all in my case, all three of them were hanging out around near the boardwalk right next to their stable. But a large sounder of various individuals would be a lovely sight in this enclosure.

I'm glad to hear. The good thing about RRHs is that even in small numbers they do tend to be quite active and showey!
