I know it's been a minute since you've been here and you have no frame of reference to how I film but I figured if anyone could answer my question it'd be you!
Of my 2.5 days in the bay area I will try to spend my half day at the Academy. Do you think all of the live animal exhibits can be seen and documented (filmed) within 4 or so hours?
@Moebelle Back in 2011, I spent 5 hours at the California Academy of Sciences and I found that out by looking up my review on my Snowleopard's 2011 Road Trip thread. That includes seeing the special exhibit called "Snakes & Lizards: The Summer of Slither" that featured more than 60 species in a separate room. However, a show in the Planetarium was something we skipped.
I think you'd easily be able to see the Osher Rainforest in 50 minutes, the penguins in the African Hall in 10 minutes, and then all the numerous aquarium tanks in two hours. That includes the Alligator Swamp. The whole place is fantastic and it could be a full day out if one were to do everything, but just the live animal exhibits could be seen in 3 hours.
