White-Lipped Python

I apologize for the poor photo quality on a few of these photos- this was a difficult aquarium to photograph at (especially for an amateur), however because of how little attention it gets on ZooChat (no photos since 2017!), I wanted to add some updated photos that highlight what the facility has to offer.

Are all these reptile photos from the new reptile exhibit area that opened about a year ago? Thanks for uploading all these photos of this less-known facility. What was your opinion of it?

@SusScrofa All the reptile photos except for the turtles are. The reptile area contains the following species: green keeled lizard, Madagascar day gecko (P. madagascariensis), carpet python, gidgee skink, mangrove monitor (V. indicus- signed as "Solomon Island Mangrove Monitor"), white-lipped python, Cuban knight anole, a hybrid rock iguana, red-footed tortoise, and a black-and-white tegu (signed, but a no-show). Quite a nice reptile collection for a facility that only advertises ball python and bearded dragon on their website! Elsewhere in the aquarium there are mixed-species tanks that in addition to various fish have a fly river turtle and alligator snapping turtle.

While the aquarium is very small, I was actually really impressed. The signage they have is really nice, and they managed to pull off video signage despite the fact many much larger facilities struggle to do so. A lot of the exhibits were a very respectable size for their inhabitants, although a few were on the small side (namely the coral catshark/epaulette shark exhibit). A lot of the tanks are themed towards different regions, for example there was a "Louisiana Bayou" tank, a "California Kelp Forest" tank, etc., and a really good mix of freshwater and saltwater species. I also noticed enrichment in some of the tanks, which was cool to see (especially in the octopus tank). The facility wasn't perfect- and I could've done without the bizarre koi touch tank that reminded me of a waterpark lazy river in its design, however by and large it was a very respectable small aquarium that I'm glad I took the time to explore.

@Neil chace Thanks for the information :) I'm really happy to hear its a decent mall aquarium considering how many of those are horrible (like SeaQuest).
