@TinoPup - When I visited last week (a bright sunny day in the high 60s) the black-and-white tegu was outside in one of the cages next to the Virginia opossum.
@TinoPup I was figuring it was weather related. The Mojave desert tortoise was also out in its little yard on my visit. Looking through your other photos, it looks like the tegu took over the dove cage because I definitely didn't see any doves.
@Kudu21 The dove cage was the very first one on the right, before you turn around the corner (or last, if you go in reverse). There was definitely a dove in it on my visit Nice that the tortoise was out, too!
@TinoPup@Kudu21 Those three exhibits where the opossum is are for ambassador animals; there is signage stating that animals rotate depending on the day.
@Coelacanth18 - Ah, thanks! Good to know. I must have missed that signage. I did that area last, and it was getting quite busy, so I sped through pretty fast.
@Coelacanth18@Kudu21 I don't think there's signage for that now. I definitely didn't see any, and I took photos of pretty much all of the signs and banners I saw. It was the first section I did and the few other people were going in the other direction, so I was taking my time.
