This is shocking even by junky, roadside American zoo standards. Maybe the Serval is an ex-pet, but even so one would imagine they'd need an enclosure 10 times the size of this one.
@snowleopard Yeah, this was another subpar roadside to add to the junk pile. The tiger exhibit was especially terrible and most of the yards were built on slopes which made even viewing the animals very awkward. I was visiting Zoo Knoxville and had time to kill before checking in to my hotel and this place was only half an hour away according to my GPS, so my cat-killing curiosity got the best of me and I decided to document it. Kind of regretful I did, I certainly didn't enjoy driving through the rugged mountain country and the snaking two-way lanes that can only fit one car. But as someone who has documented plenty of obscure roadsides yourself, I'm sure you have had the same feeling in the name of research
