I'm glad to see that they have Ornate Lorikeets! That's a very nice smaller species. Do you recall whether they had more than the one? Great photo too by the way!
@Summer Tanager Thank you! Yeah, I'm certain they had more than one but not sure how many exactly. The only lorikeet species number I can confirm is Weber's Lorikeet, in which the zoo currently has two that are off-display for some reason (maybe breeding?)
Thank you! I think Ornate Lorikeets are just about my favorite because of their small size, color, and apparent compatibility with other species (but the latter is based on a very small sample size). If they are a pugnacious lorikeet species, then I probably don't want to know that!
