I really enjoyed my trip to Homosassa Springs in 2019, but there are so many wild Black Vultures, White Ibis, and Great Egrets, that it's hard to tell which birds are wild and which are part of the outdoor exhibits! I hope they still have the enclosed aviary where their Roseate Spoonbills are kept.
Thank you for letting me know! I was there the last week of February in 2019, so exactly 5 years ago, and the Roseate Spoonbills were beginning their new nesting cycle, and there were a few other species in there - Green Heron and Common Gallinule are two that I remember.
