Santa Ana Zoo - Mountain yellow-legged frog raising station

@brown bear 555 - The Santa Ana Zoo is just a rearing facility for this species. They receive tadpoles hatched from breeding facilities, such as the Los Angeles Zoo, and then raise them into frogs for release back into the wild. With that, they are not permanent residents of the zoo, but rather are only present seasonally following the breeding season. As such, there are none currently on display. You can peer into the windows of the building and see the rearing facility and the series of terrariums and pools that would be used by the tadpoles and frogs when they are present. It probably isn’t the best view, but you can see them when they’re there.
