The bonobo exhibit is one of the biggest improvement ever done by "La Vallée des Singes" (2 200 000 ). It consists of a large building with two indoor enclosures and a gigantic natural island (1 ha, 2.5 acres) with a forest part and a grass part. This is the one of the biggest exhibit in the world for this species and probably the best because they have free access to dozens of trees.
