Was a pleasant surprise to see this rarity. Sad that many zoos choose to keep common but famous animals (lions, giraffe, jaguar, etc) instead. Hopefully more Indonesian zoo will start focusing on their native animals in the future.
@Semioptera I wonder how Dhole are doing in the wild in Indonesia? I am sure a localized captive breeding program would be tremendously helpful for this particular subspecies.
