They have flamingoes in an aviary, but still keep parrots on sticks‽

@Osedax All 3 species, but Greater are in aviaries now, but yeah. Parrots still just on sticks lol

I'll think you'll find that it was the HPAI outbreak more than anything that prompted the netting over of the flamingo exhibits, as unfortunate as that may be... Parrots-on-a-stick are easy to move into indoor holdings when necessary and likely already are overnight. Whole breeding flocks of flamingos are a different story...

@Kudu21 Makes sense, that's what I figured since I saw the construction last time I was here which was right after the first big outbreak
