I think this photo is of the Monserrat Oriole and not the Yellow Cardinal (the bill is thin and it lacks a crest). It's impressive that you managed to get photos of just about every bird in the aviary!
I think you're right and I'll change the title.
I have every species on photo, except for the Palawan Peacock pheasant, but most of them are not good enough to publish here.
I had also noticed during the visit that many species were very accessible, some coming up to 1m: both laughing-thrushes, white-eye, leafbird, liocichla.
Some, like the turacos, followed the zoo keeper almost like a pet.
@Philipine eagle That's very interesting! Maybe they do a lot of hand-rearing at the zoo? Or maybe the keepers spend a lot of time in training the birds?
