Hippopotamus at the Pachyderm House.

Too bad Brookfield Zoo no longer has River hippos, I miss them

Do you know if these 2 individuals are still alive?

@Kevin Miller No both hippos are now deceased like @MeiLover previously stated. The zoo's male Nile Hippo, Hansel (head on the left), passed away at Brookfield Zoo on December 20th 2007 at the age of 54 years, and the female, Wicket (head on the right), who was Hansel's daughter, moved to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado on June 5th 2012, and she passed away there on November 6th, 2014 at the age of 45 years.
