Did you see any of the Tulsa Zoo's Derbyan Parakeets? For several years they've had a small group in one of the outdoor exhibits at the Conservation Center.
@Summer Tanager I definitely didn't see them. I don't recall how many bird cages were outside, but the only birds that were signed were snowy owl, hyacinth macaw, and wrinkled hornbill. I feel like there was at least one exhibit that was signed as being empty.
@DesertTortoise Thank you! I'm sorry to hear that but at least they still have the Plum-headed Parakeets. I'm planning on making a trip to the Tulsa Zoo in late April (my first trip since April of 2022) so I'll look for them and maybe have a chance to ask about them.
