Chinese Giant Salamander

The head of a Chinese Giant Salamander in SLoRA, the new Reptile House at London Zoo. The zoo houses four salamanders with two being onshow at the moment, each in their own massive pools. They have both found their preferred hiding spots, so it is easy to know where to look - less easy to find them!
I think what would be reasonable with visitor-averse species like some salamanders would be to have some on-show and some more behind the scenes - and if appropriate any offspring can be put on display later on.
Though I believe that is what ZSL London is doing

@dillotest0 As mentioned in the description, it indeed is. There are currently two onshow pools and two offshow pools, with each holding one salamander. Not sure where the two offshow individuals are, but I suspect it is either the Congo Caecilian room beside the Mappins or one of the many offshow rooms near the entrance to SLoRA. Indeed, the former is where the two onshow individuals could be found while they awaited the opening of SLoRA.
