As ghastly as ever! Here is a major exhibit that I simply cannot stand, with its bizarre exterior, jail-like walls, poor viewing areas indoors and the whole thing looks terrible in my opinion. In another couple of decades I predict that it will age very poorly.
@snowleopard Depending on which side you approach it from, to me it gives either cartoon monster lair or maximum security prison vibes. I don't like it either. Tall netted exhibits that make substantial use of height to create living space can work well for great apes, but this one is just poorly executed.
