@Nile Hippo Expert I guess this was the last individual, then. How old was he/she? And did San Diego Zoo only receive post-reproductive individuals from Australia?
@RatioTile I believe this was the male named Schweppes, who was born in Australia back in 2017 and arrived from the Albuquerque BioPark back in 2022. Assuming it was him, he would have been 7 years old, which is axtually old for a Tasmanian Devil.
So, so sad. Such a big loss, I was at the zoo about a year ago, and I'm pretty sure I got a picture with him. I still remember when my mom kept calling him a "daredevil," lol. Rest in peace little buddy.
