A rescue bird which had to have a number of plastic items removed from its stomach. It will be released when well enough. I don't know if this is T. melanophris or T. impavida because immature birds are indistinguishable from one another and both occur off New Zealand coasts.
 
Wellington has the rehab area of their wildlife hospital actually on display
 
@Osedax there are several rooms viewable, yes, although they also have blinds which can be drawn down to shield them if necessary.
 
The last two times I went to Wellington Zoo, I forgot to to the see the Wildlife Hospital.
