The Asiatic lion is no longer considered an actual subspecies (Depending on which taxonomy you are using of course) but a population of Panthera leo leo
@ralph really? i didn't know that, i was using the taxonomy panthera leo persica, that is the species' names, but wow, i didn't know it wasn't considered an actual subspecies anymore, would mind explain to me why the asiatic lion is no longer considered an actual subspecies?
