Sorry to comment on an old post, but that's a cracking photograph! What settings do you use for photography in such pitch-black parts of zoos? I'm trying to improve my skills at it.
@olhl.animal.photography If you press info (right next to comments just above) it’ll tell you the exact settings for this photo. As ever you want to maximise shutterspeed while remaining in the bounds of an aperture that is sufficient to see the animal - preferably a high ISO too. Beyond that it takes a lot of trial and error and the right opportunity, as even if you get the settings absolutely right, if the bushbaby isn’t perfectly still for the period that the shutter is closed, it won’t look great - alternatively you could take advantage of the movement of the bushbaby and go for a motion blur image but these are technically difficult to do on purpose .
