it looks like a very poor exhibit, i get that tigers need water to swim and they love water, but this looks like more of a waterfowl exhibit than a tiger exhibit.
Is this really as small as it looks? This looks ridiculously tiny from this angle, even smaller than the infamous lion enclosure at Hagenbeck. Surely there is more to this than the photo shows.
They only renovated the cat house a few years ago, and this is the result? If I recall correctly the exhibit they had before had much more land space than this.
@Cat-Man This enclosure has not been renovated yet. Only the building itself and inner courtyard (leopards etc) were renovated in the phase they've completed. The outer big cat enclosures are due to start shortly, including new tiger enclosures in the area of the wading bird enclosures over the main path and a fascinating-looking jaguar enclosure extending out into the lake.
