Just a few notes as it changed a bit, or some not signed species seem to have escaped your list
- Australia (1 - Small aviary) also houses one Indian silverbill.
- Canary Islands (Small aviary) no longer houses a Socorro dove, and I haven't seen the quail recently either.
- East Africa also houses speckled mousebirds, but they are often hiding.
- West Africa also houses one stone partridge.
- Madagascar aviary also houses a pair of Madagascar partridges.
- African tropical hall walk-through section now also houses Eurasian hoopoe.
This is a great account of the birds in those aviaries! Thank you for posting! This is a very impressive and diverse collection - I've never seen a White-eared Brown Dove, Thick-billed Ground Pigeon, or a Gray Hypocolius in a U.S. Zoo.
