Gorilla outdoors

The rather interesting wall of the gorilla outdoor enclosure, which is shared wit Kikuyu black-and-white guereza.

Does anyone know if the gorillas actively use the metal climbing structure? I can imagine some of the apes consistently ignoring the metal poles but there would be some individuals that utilize the poles every day.

These poles are for the guereza and I am not sure whether the gorilla could even get to them easily. But the guereza make full use of this structure.

Thanks for the information...very interesting! I have always been under the impression that a gorilla could pull themselves up to get around the edge of the exhibit via the metal poles but perhaps they cannot access the climbing structure.
