signed for Black-winged Stilt, Avocet, Black-tailed Godwit. The aviary was so lush I haven't see any of those species. Instead there are some spoonbills (probably spares from the main spoonbill aviary) and some Whimbrels
I heard around that Oasi di Sant'Alessio had a very good collection but that the exhibits left a lot to desire... but judging from your photos it looks like a rather wonderful park!
@SivatheriumGuy, I think it's a good park. It is privately owned, and visitor areas do look a bit shabby, however I thought that the animal spaces were mostly very good. They also do quite a bit of native species breeding in order to boost struggling wild populations and from what I head had pioneered the breeding of some species (such as kingfisher, grebes, etc.).
