@Summer Tanager I'll reply to your comments about the second aviary here!
The second aviary is way better in my opinion, it's quite large and the birds have access to many cover zones, birdhouses, trees, water areas... It gives the visitors a ton of observation opportunities too, with quite a unique pathing layout through the whole enclosure. I like its focus on ducks and smaller birds such as passerines, it originally housed even more passeriformes that are no longer at the park (yellow-mantled widowbirds, black-chested jays, ortolan buntings,...) but what is currently housed is pretty nice. The atmosphere is quite nice here too, with the crashing of the waterfalls and the constant chirping of the Java sparrows and starlings, it's easily my favorite spot in the whole park.
You mention the possibility of breeding in the other post, and I can tell you I saw nesting asian pied starlings and Java sparrows, but I know that at least the purple glossy starlings, bar-shouldered doves, Japanese quails,... breed here, as I'm guessing do many others. Most duck species also had ducklings alongside them, and a ton of duck chicks were present in an incubator in the visible keeper area, with the highlight being a smew chick!
@SivatheriumGuy Thanks for replying to my comments! This aviary does look and sound better now that I have more information (I hadn't looked at all of your photos when I posted my first comment). I'm happy to hear about all of the successful reproduction and the Smew duckling is great news!! I think that this would be my favorite part of the zoo as well!
